Whether you know him as Alan or Fabu-Lyft, our Mentor of the Day has made a name for himself in Orange County with his tireless efforts to teach drivers our 5-star standards. You'll spot him street-teaming on the weekends, fistbumping fellow Lyftmates at socials, and welcoming mentees into the community with a smile. He's even known to go out of his way to make sure newbies know what it means to be a friend with a car. Recently, Monica posted in the Lounge that her French skills were rusty, and she needed some pointers from a fluent speaker before an important job interview. The two had never met before, but Alan responded right away to her post, drove out to meet her, and they spoke for hours in French. Alan was incredibly generous with his time and really, really helpful. He came and posed mock questions, corrected my grammar, suggested vocabulary, and even gifted me a phrasebook. Besides that, this is the first time I have ever met a fellow Lyft driver, and it was so great to vent and tell stories and laugh. I feel so glad and lucky that I became a Lyft driver because I have access to this world of really talented, kind, friendly people. Sometimes I say Lyft screens for awesomeness and Alan proves that it does! - Monica, new OC driver Thanks for spreading smiles, Alan. Keep up the great work!
