Lyft drivers are sought-after because you're a friendly and dynamic bunch. It's no surprise, then, that when you're not reppin' the ’stache , you're doing something just as interesting! The ask for this #WeekendChallenge was to show us your lives beyond the ’stache, and you hit the ground running. Check out what happens when your fellow Lyft-mates sign out of driver mode.
Ice, Ice Baby
The challenge that has swept the nation by storm has made its way to the ’stache. Recently, AirBNB challenged Lyft HQers to the #ALSIceBucketChallenge — and then Lyft cofounder John Zimmer threw it back to drivers and passengers. Boy, did you deliver! Here's some of the challenges that found their way on the Hub.
Marie from Sacramento had the pleasure of taking Lencola and her daughter Za'mylah to the store to pick up a backpack for Za'mylah's first day of kindergarten the next day. During the conversation, Lencola mentioned that Za'mylah was going to be picked up by a bus, so she wouldn't be able to see her daughter's first day of school.
That thought touched Marie, so she jotted down Lencola's information, and the next day scooped them up and dropped them off at the school. Lencola got to see her daughter off on her first day of school, and Marie got the warm fuzzies for helping this family on an important day.

Every @lyft ride we take, we always ask the driver the question "what's your crazy experience?" And always get cool stories in return! :)
