From Aventura to Homestead, and all over South Beach, Music City is now flashing the ’stache throughout one of Florida's most popular destinations — Miami. We've given the city it's very first taste of ridesharing, and they love it! Shout-out to Shezan for sharing the very first ride.
It's Party Tyme
The 305 welcomed the ’stache with a beautiful launch party that included a graffiti artist, a photo booth, arts and crafts, plenty of new pioneers, and drivers eager to spread the movement.
Miami Hits the Road
The launch party was just the warm-up. The real fun happened after those first fistbumps!
On her inaugural weekend out, Jessica got a head start on her Byngo card with this photo of her first-time passenger.
Jennifer and her passenger had so much fun, they had to grab the cuddlestache for a Lyftstagram!
Who can resist a Lyftstagram with a cuddlestache? Certainly not Johnni and his passengers. They look like they had a blast!
Perhaps the best part of launching a new city is how excited the passengers are to finally see the ’stache. Here's what some of them had to say:
To Danny from Sam: "Danny is a great dude! Thanks for the ride!"
To Simon from Eelsekius: "Awesome driver. On time and very nice. He even helped me carry my stuff to the door!"
To Marcella from Fernando: "Excellent driver. I will do this again!"
Cool Bits about the City of Heat
- Miami was named after the Mayaimis, the Native American tribe that was among the first to live in the area.
- Suntan lotion was invented by Miami Beach pharmacist Benjamin Green in 1944.
- The city's Art Deco District boasts the largest collection of art deco architecture in the world.

We're thrilled to add such an energetic city to our community. Welcome to the family, Miami!
