Starting today, your passengers will see two useful links at the bottom of their ride receipt: Lose something? and Add tip.
Community-based Lost and Found
Passengers who think they've left something in your car — hey, it happens to the best of us — can now tap the "lose something" link and reach this handy form. They're prompted to describe the missing item and share a number where they can be reached.
You'll receive a text message from the Lyft Robots whenever a passenger fills out the form:
Please reach out as soon as you can if you ever get one of these texts. Your passenger will be relieved to hear from you!
As a bonus for coordinating a reunion, we also added a tip screen for passengers who use Lost & Found:
Another Chance to Tip
The web-based tip prompt isn’t just for lost-and-found cases. We’re also extending the option to passengers who forgot to do it in the app, but still want to say thanks for an awesome ride.
We’re always looking for ways to boost your earnings and strengthen the connection between drivers and riders. Enjoy the extra dough in your summary, and the next time you see an abandoned jacket or iPhone on your passenger seat, check your text messages!
