You never know how valuable a lost item could be to its owner. When David, a new Miami driver, found a passenger’s phone in his backseat, he quickly arranged a way to return it. David drove two hours to reunite the two — even before realizing the sentimental value of the lost item. The passenger later explained that the phone held photos and voicemails from her late father, who had recently passed away.
“I got chills,” David says, “It’s that rare feeling when you know you’ve done something that really matters to someone else. You remember that you really can make a difference.”
