At Lyft, community is what we are and it’s what we do. It’s what makes us different. To create the best ride for all, we start in our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization. In Lyft's early days, drivers regularly met up to connect, share a cup of coffee or a meal and even participate in fun drivers-only outings like bowling.
The Driver Advisory Council will begin hosting monthly driver meetups in Nashville, Chicago, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, New York City, Seattle and Austin. Bobby - the DAC member from Nashville - kicked things off on April 3rd with a Taco Tuesday meetup. In LA, Dianne - the DAC member for the Pacific region - organized a driver meet and greet / focus group that took place at the Los Angeles Hub. Check out photos below and stay tuned for details on more meetups.

Vegas Art Event: Ready, Set, Gogh
In Las Vegas, Lyft hosted Ready, Set, Gogh, an event that transformed the Las Vegas Hub into an art gallery, displaying and celebrating the artwork designed by our drivers.
- Turned hub space into a platform where drivers proudly showcased their passion that Lyft supports
- Turned parking lot into a safe outdoor celebration that drivers and their families can enjoy
- Sponsored two drivers with the best design at a gallery space in the heart of Art District
- Printed two winning designs on t-shirts to spread their passion to 200+ members of the Las Vegas driver community
