Road Closures

From Jan. 19-20, certain parts of DC will be blocked off, preventing pickups and drop-offs in those zones. Read up on the closures ahead of time, and pay close attention to all signage to make sure you’re staying compliant.

Designated Staging Areas

Throughout the week, you’ll be able to choose from three designated pickup and drop-off locations — just look for posted signage that reads: “Emergency Stand: Rideshare Location.” You can use these locations for all pickups and drop-offs, and ask a Lyft Ambassador if you need help. (They’ll be standing by in the area.)

1. Lot 3 at RFK Stadium

2. The Kennedy Center, curbside at the Hall of Nations

3. Capitol Riverfront at the 1200 Block of New Jersey Avenue, SE

Expect Airport Rides

With this many guests visiting from out of town, your passengers will need help getting to and from the airport. Just make sure to keep your trade dress and TNC credentials handy anytime you’re in driver mode. By having your documents ready to go, you’ll avoid hefty fines and citations.

Thanks for keeping DC moving, especially while the city’s in the spotlight this week. See you on the road!
