Passengers turn to you for every reason — and sometimes, it’s a ride to an important business meeting, the airport, or a night at the ballet. To help meet the community’s needs, Lyft is launching a high-end ride type called Premier, rolling out today in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, and New York City.
Make the Most of Your Investment
"I’ve been wanting an option like this for awhile, since many drivers invested in a nicer vehicle in order to stand out."
- Christian Perea, Writer and Driver at The Rideshare Guy
Passengers pay double the fare for Premier rides, and for a limited time, they’ll have the same low commission that classic Lyft rides do. It’s our way of thanking you for choosing a high-end car, and for providing the in-car experience to match it.
Start Earning More With Premier
If you have an Audi, BMW, or any other approved model, head to the Dashboard. You’ll need to confirm that you have leather seats to secure your Premier spot, and maintain a 4.7+ rating. See the details.
Lock in Referral Bonuses
Think of your friends with high-end cars, especially those who’re already top rideshare drivers. If they qualify for Premier, you can both get a bonus, and they’ll be among the first to offer Premier rides.
To qualify for a referral bonus, your referral must have a qualifying car, and must give 100 rides within 30 days of being approved as a Lyft driver in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, or New York City. Driver approval and eligibility determined at sole discretion of Lyft. No more than two rides given to the same passenger will count toward the ride requirement. Promotion subject to Lyft’s Terms of Service. See full referral terms on the Help Center. *Illustrative amounts do not guarantee earnings. Lyft’s commission is 20% for Lyft drivers who joined before January 2016. New York City drivers also pay an additional 11.4% administrative charge. Learn more about commission.
