Lyft Does St. Patrick's Day

Lyft's community spirit was alive and well in more than 15 cities across the country, as we helped drivers fuel up before St. Patrick's Day — one of the highest-earning nights of the year.

Drivers in cities like Baltimore and Chicago were able to connect with Lyft team members to receive in-person support, as well get a chance to grab snacks, beverages, and even some St. Patrick's Day swag.

Check out the USA Today article highlighting our special Lucky Mode activation. Then below, take a look at some of our favorite photos of Lyft drivers getting into the holiday spirit.

Stay tuned for more ways you can connect with other drivers in your community.

It’s Official: The First-Ever Driver Advisory Council

Many of our best features started as ideas from Lyft drivers, from a better tipping screen to Express Pay. Naturally, we started to wonder how we could ensure every driver’s voice was heard — and decided a community-led forum would be the best place to start. Today, we’re excited to announce the first-of-its-kind Driver Advisory Council.

Representing different regions of the country, this team of seven drivers will have a direct link to the leadership at HQ, and work with the local driver community to help inform and shape future policies and features.

Each regional councilmember will hold a meetup to take your suggestions and ideas, and share exciting updates about things to come. So that more people have a chance to participate, we’ll select new members of the council each quarter.

We can’t wait to see what unfolds. Keep an eye out for your monthly meetup email, and look forward to another open call for council applications in the summer.
