2017 St. Patrick’s Day Parade Information
This week on Saturday, Denver will be hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade! With increased demand and road closures on the agenda, you’ll want to read up on this weekend’s activities before hitting the road.
Where to Drive
Passengers will be out in full force on Saturday morning for the annual St. Patrick's day parade. With an expected crowd of 250,000 it will great day to cash in on rides. The parade kicks off downtown at 9:30am, so expect high demand starting at 7am from passengers heading to grab a spot along the parade route. Look for passengers near light rail stations, Cap Hill, Wash Park & Highlands.
The parade will wind down around 2PM, but expect demand to spike between 3PM & 7PM as passengers enjoy post-parade festivities downtown.
Much of downtown will be blocked off beginning at 8AM on Saturday morning. The best drop off points for passengers will be along Lawrence or Arapahoe streets or 15th between Delgany & Arapahoe.
After the parade, passengers will be directed to the south of Lawrence or the west of 16th for pick ups.
Avoid Broadway between Blake & Lawrence, Park Ave West & 20th Street from 8:00AM-2:00PM on Saturday.
