2017 St. Patrick’s Day Parade Information
This week on Saturday, Pittsburgh will be hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade! With increased demand and road closures on the agenda, you’ll want to read up on this weekend’s activities before hitting the road.
Where to Drive
Help attendees get near the parade by dropping them off 2-3 blocks from the parade route. Possible options for where to drop passengers off include Fort Pitt Blvd or Penn Avenue.
Festivities after parade are near Market Square area. Once the road clears up around 2pm, passengers will need a ride to continue with their St. Patrick's day festivities.
Closures will begin at 7:30 a.m. along the parade route, which includes Liberty Avenue, Grant Street, the Boulevard of the Allies and Stanwix Street. These streets will be opened up again at approximately 1 p.m.
