Lyft Line is designed to get you the most rides with the shortest ETAs by stacking rides along a continuous route. Pret-teh clever, right? In order for everything to run smoothly, there are a few guidelines we need you to follow.
1. Pay attention to party size.
You can pick up either 1 or 2 passengers for each Lyft Line stop. Make sure you don't pick up more people than is indicated in the app.
If you find a different number of passengers when you arrive, kindly ask them to cancel the ride and re-request.
2. Stick to the route suggested by your navigation app.
If you stray from the route on your navigation app, things could get weird.
3. Don't panic when your summary shows one Lyft Line ride, even though you had multiple stops.
We count one "ride" from the time you have zero passengers to the next time you have zero passengers. Within that ride you may do up to 4 unique Lyft Line pickups and drop-offs, but we'll count all of those as a single ride for the driver — and thus, one item on your summary.
Following these tips will make life easier for you, your passengers, and the superheroes at Lyft Support.
