George Clooney and the Help Center’s Q&A feature have a lot in common. For one, they both get better with age. The Q&A gets more useful with every question you post. Here's a roundup of the most popular questions asked this week:
Can people hail me off the street if I’m not currently matched with a passenger?
While driving for Lyft, you should only be accepting requests made using the app. One of the great things about driving for Lyft is that you'll see your passenger before you actually pick them up, eliminating any confusion there may be. See the Q&A thread ≫
I’m not seeing the option to cancel this passenger as a no-show. Is my app broken?
Nope! The ‘Charge Passenger’ button only appears when you’ve fulfilled all of the no-show criteria - it’s smart like that. Read up on that criteria in the Q&A thread ≫
What if I have car trouble during a Lyft ride?
Safety is the first priority, so get yourself, your passengers, and your car securely out of traffic’s way. Your passengers can request a new ride, and you’ll want to contact roadside assistance. Then, when you have 5-10 minutes to talk, reach out to our Critical Response Line. We’ll follow up to make sure everyone involved is okay. See the Q&A thread ≫
Keep the questions coming! And remember, the Help Center is your go-to for all things Lyft.
