We're back with the third edition of ... drumroll please ... Q&A Trending Topics! The Q&A feature is the newest addition to our Help Center. Post questions publicly, and receive answers from both our expert Support Team and your fellow drivers. Here's what you asked this week:
How can I make sure I get reimbursed for tolls?
Pro tip: Use an electronic toll payment system like FastTrak or EZPass for the cheapest toll rates and minimal ride disruption. Our new automatic toll reimbursement system is live in many Lyft cities (and spreading fast), which automatically includes toll cost in that week's direct deposit. If you don't quite have the automatic system yet, email us your receipt. Learn more details on the Q&A thread >>
Let's talk Power Driver Bonuses, too. Do I need to keep that 90% acceptance rate every day, or weekly?
We go by weekly totals. Think of it like this: If you get 100 ride requests in a week, and complete at least 90 of those rides, you're set - even if you only give five rides out of ten ride requests on one of the days. Passenger cancelations and no-shows don't count in the equation. See the Q&A thread >>
We all know that you can't drive more passengers than you have seat belts. Any pro tips on explaining that to passengers?
Veteran driver Skylar B. has options for you. He's handled passenger groups of all sizes, whether they want to request a Lyft Plus, another classic Lyft, or cancel the ride altogether. Check out his tips on the Q&A thread >>
