Make more each week with the Power Driver Bonus.
Helping drivers make 10-20% more since 2014, the Power Driver Bonus is a reliable way to increase your weekly earnings. Every few months, we revisit the program to make sure the requirements align with market demand in each city.
There are two different levels of the Power Driver Bonus: Depending on how many rides you give, you can earn 10% or 20% more each week (that’s almost all of Lyft’s commission, back in your pocket). Below, a breakdown of how it works.
- Give a certain number rides/week during peak hours. Peak hours are when passengers need your rides most. They vary by city and change week to week.
- Give a certain number of rides/week total. Again, these hours vary by week and city.
- Drive a car that’s a 2011 model or newer.
- Maintain a 90% acceptance rate. This is the number of rides completed divided by total requests. Get the specifics.
You can easily check your progress in Driver Stats (your city-specific hours for both peak hours and total hours can also be found here). When earned, you'll see the Power Driver Bonus included in your weekly deposit. Start earning more.
Visit your Driver Dashboard to learn the local ride requirements. Learn more about qualifying for the Power Driver Bonus. Power Driver Bonus requirements subject to change and Lyft’s Terms of Service.
