Late Night Cleanups for Passenger Messes

A sick passenger or spilled drink shouldn’t keep you off the road during busy weekend nights. We’ve partnered with on-demand car care provider Spiffy to find better ways to deal with messy passengers. 

Starting now, drivers in LA can get reimbursed interior car cleaning on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 10 PM to 6 AM - usually within 30 minutes.

And before the Fourth of July, late night service starts Wednesday, July 3 at 10 PM.

To minimize your downtime and be reimbursed for messy passenger cleanups, please do the following:

  1. Submit a damage claim (as you normally would)

  2. Drive to the Spiffy cleaning spot (address below)

  3. Show the Spiffy team your Lyft Support email

  4. Reply to that email with “I am getting cleaned at Spiffy” and include a photo of the barcode the Spiffy team gives you

  5. Pay for the service

  6. Get back on the road (and be reimbursed)!
